Crushing Day

Since 1993, Crushing Day has been in the forefront of the Baltimore music scene. Though mainly concentrated in the Baltimore/Annapolis area, the band has traveled the East coast from Killington, VT to Key West, FL. Crushing Day has shared the stage with national acts, Puddle of Mudd, SR-71, DaDa, The Posies, Driven’ and Cryin’, Ace Freehley, Lita Ford, Child’s Play, Jimmie’s Chicken Shack, The Pat McGee Band, The Ravyns, and Dig. Crushing Day’s fan-base is large and its audience is loyal. The testament to this is a full schedule of repeated bookings all over the region. Their e-mail list consists of thousands of addresses which are updated weekly with the tour schedule as well as other pertinent information. Crushing Day’s ‘Radio Fools’ is the band’s only release from 2002 and the band continues receive requests to play tracks off of that album at every show. It is a well-written compilation capturing the bands essence…infectious lyrics, melodic, semi-aggressive guitar licks and tasteful, driving rhythms.
